. on this day...
This place is called 'Great Wild Goose Pagoda'. It was built at the beginning of the Tang Dynasty in the 7th century. Uh oh... I feel a rant coming on... Why is it called the Great Wild Goose Pagoda? It really doesn't look like a great wild goose. What is that about? And why is this pagoda so ugly? They should look at the beautiful ones in Japan and learn from them. There's nothing wrong with being delicate! Hola! Me llamo Enano. I've been stuck in a desk drawer until a couple days ago, when John found and rescued me. He told me that his youngest brother, Jay, was about to graduate from the University of Portland and make his way in the world. I thought that sounded like a grand adventure, so I decided to tag along. I hitched a ride up to Portland with John and Tico, where we delivered to Jay a bottle of the finest Absinthe. Nothing quite like a little green fairy to help ease the transition into the 'real' world, eh? Or would that be considered delaying the inevitable? Either way, Salud! 04/29/2004 - Sheelagh and John have been waking up early to go for a walk around the neighborhood before work, and I got to go with them this morning! We ended up walking through the gardens at the Rosicrucian Museum. The sunrise was breathtaking!
