. on this day...
I thought that I was looking a little pale so I decided to lay out on the beach and take in some sun. But you have to be careful - Australia has a very thin ozone layer. I even heard somewhere that they have big holes in the ozone above the land down under. Good thing I put on some sunscreen! Wouldn't want to get all red and then have my skin peeling for a week. Yuck. Went on another walk this morning, and we came across this guard lion. I guess he's getting on in years, because he was more than happy to chat for a little while before posing for this picture. Raaaahwer, even! Hangin' with the soon-to-be-Graduates. Congrats, Lisa and Julie!!!

05/04/2005 - I didn't realize I'd been tagged until John clued me in...some naturalist gnome tracker must have tranq'd and tagged me somewhere along the line. But to label me a 'huggable toy'? Sure, I'm huggable. And of course I want to be your lovable friend! But a toy? Gnomey don't play that!
